The Workshop will take place in the School of Physics, part of the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland in Lecture Theatre C, and will be well signposted in the department.

Travel to St Andrews by air
Edinburgh Airport: Edinburgh is the nearest major airport to St Andrews.
By train from Edinburgh Airport: Your destination is Leuchars train station. The airport has both regular bus (“airlink”) and tram services to the centre of Edinburgh, which call at/close to main railway stations (Gateway, Haymarket and Waverley). There is also an additional bus link service (747) from the airport to Inverkeithing rail station. From all these stations, there are trains to Leuchars.
By bus from Edinburgh Airport: You can take the 747 service from Edinburgh Airport to its destination “Halbeath Park & Ride” and change there for the X59 or X24 to St Andrews.
By taxi from Edinburgh Airport: A taxi rank and hire car services can also be found at the airport, or it can be booked in advance (especially if you travel in a group): St Andrews Direct
Glasgow Airport: Glasgow airport is a 90 minute drive from St Andrews. There are bus shuttle services (500 and 747) link the airport with Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow city centre, which is a short walk from both main rail stations (Central and Queen Street). These bus services can be found outside the main terminal building at Glasgow Airport.
Travel to St Andrews by road
From Edinburgh: St Andrews is 50 miles (80 km) north of Edinburgh, go via the Queensferry Crossing (which replaces the Forth Road Bridge) to junction 5 on the M90, then A92 through Glenrothes and Cupar and A91.
From Dundee: St Andrews is 15 miles south of Dundee via the Tay Bridge A92, A919 and A91.From Glasgow: St Andrews is 75 miles away via either M8 to the Queensferry Crossing or by A80 and M876 to the Kincardine Bridge and then by A977, M90 and A91.
Bus/Coach: There are regular coaches which arrive at St Andrews to and from Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Typical routes which service St Andrews are:
Edinburgh: Stagecoach service X59.
Glasgow: Stagecoach services X24 and X26
Dundee: Stagecoach services 94, 96 and 99
Travel to St Andrews by train
The nearest train station to St Andrews is Leuchars, which is about 5 miles away on the line between Edinburgh and Dundee. Leuchars station and the St Andrews bus terminal are linked by regular bus services (service numbers 94, 96 and 99). Taxis are also available from the taxi rank at the station (next to the bus stop).
